Belle Systems changes name to Digiquant
New corporate identity goes hand in hand with continued global expansion

Billing 2000 Conference, Cannes, France, November 28, 2000

Belle Systems, a global provider of service management, billing and customer care solutions for telecommunications companies and next-generation service providers, has unveiled a change in corporate identity designed to see the company into its next phase of growth. The new name - Digiquant - and visual identity is a key development in the company's global expansion strategy.

Digiquant has been providing billing software systems to telecommunications companies for six years, and has been expanding its international reach since 1998, driven largely by growth in the market for IP-based digital services. To facilitate this growth, Digiquant has this year seen the opening of two further regional headquarters - in Atlanta, USA and Singapore -and a rise in the company's headcount from 100 to 400.

Chief Executive Officer, Digiquant, Erik Froberg explains: "Our new name identifies us with two primary attributes. First that we are focused on enabling the digital economy, and second that we enable our customers to take a quantum leap forward in winning their markets. The name change is an important step that positions us for future international growth".

"Our focus is on the growing digital economy worldwide", added Froberg. "Consumer demand for new IP services will continue to skyrocket and Digiquant is ideally positioned to help support next generation service providers seize this opportunity and at the same time increase our own global market share".

Earlier this month, Hasse Rasmussen, founder of and former CEO of Digiquant, turned the chief executive reins over to Mr. Froberg in order to return to his first love, product research and development, as the company's chief technology officer and Chairman of the Board.
