Internet Management System (IMS)
The cutting-edge service management, billing and customer care solution from Digiquant
Internet Management System (IMS) from Digiquant is a multi-service platform used by telecommunications companies and next generation service providers to manage all aspects of their service offerings, including authentication, service activation, mediation, rating, billing, and customer care. Due to its flexibility and scalability, IMS has quickly become the strategic choice for telcos and next-generation service providers aimed for quick roll-out of services in today's highly competitive market.
IMS allows service providers to provision IP services, manage and control dynamic access to IP network infrastructures, and provide robust mediation, billing, customer care, and Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment. A separate mediation layer has also been introduced, which together with the new script based Rating Engine enables service providers to mediate, rate, and bill for virtually any service imaginable. Multiple instances of the Rating Engine can be deployed, which markedly improves performance and allows the rating of thousands of CDRs per second in real-time.
Designed for next-generation service providers and telcos, IMS supports all major Internet access technologies, from traditional dial-up, cable, leased line, and DSL offerings, to next generation services such as Voice-over IP, MPLS, VPNs, WAP, 3G wireless services, and content provisioning, enabling telcos and service providers to move in whatever direction IP may take in the future.
Next generation of EBPP and Clearing-house facilities
IMS features a Credit Card Payment module which makes it possible for service providers to implement Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment (EBPP) and offer self care for end-users.
The new Voice-over IP interconnect billing capability facilitates the easy management of OSP Clearing-house facilities, payment settlement between service providers and ensures that revenue paid by a customer to an originating service provider is divided amongst all the relevant service providers involved in the connection to the customer.
