Cisco selects RiverSoft as OEM partner for Mobile Wireless Network Management Agreement confirms RiverSoft's leadership position in managing next generation networks.

On 12th February 2001, RiverSoft announced that its products have been selected by Cisco, the world leader in networking, to form the underpinnings of Cisco's network management solutions for next generation mobile wireless networks.

Customised versions of the RiverSoft Network Management Operating System and Fault Manager application will be used to manage 2.5G and 3G mobile wireless networks and the initial shipments of the Cisco products are expected during Q1 2001.

This agreement is a further validation of the innovation of the RiverSoft solutions and the ability of RiverSoft to manage any type of IP-based network. RiverSoft already has existing licensing agreements with other industry leaders including Hewlett Packard - who will be using RiverSoft to power the future generation of OpenView solutions.
